At the start of a new year, companies all over the UK go crazy trying to get their direct marketing campaigns out the door and in to peoples homes. The task of stuffing envelopes for these campaigns can be a long and tedious one, often taking up time that could be spent on more productive matters. To provide a solution to this age long problem, leading UK mailroom equipment supplier AMS are launching the AMS 3500 machines that collate, fold, insert and seal mail in one single process, freeing up time for mailers to get on with something far more interesting.
AMS launched their new mail inserter at the 2012 Direct Marketing Expo, which took place in February 2012 at Earls Court, London.
The new AMS 3500 desktop mail inserter is so simple to use, with the colour touch screen control panel and only two buttons, all you do is load your documents and envelopes then let the touch screen guide you through adjusting the settings. Its 15-job memory enables you to store the settings for all your regular mail runs, allowing instant recall.
Kevin McPheat, Managing Director of AMS, said “The downside to the majority of direct mail campaigns is that employees must take time away from their normal job to stuff the envelopes. The AMS Folder Inserter range dramatically reduces time spent on this task, saving significant costs to companies. We are delighted to be demonstrating the AMS range at the Direct Marketing Expo in February, enabling marketers to see for themselves how imperative the machines are to a successful mailing campaign.”
